My Background, My Vision
I spent several years working in human resources management at Luxembourg-based companies, in a variety of environments and industries.
Over the years, I've come to understand human resources as it really is: in the field.
Behind the procedures, contracts, organizations, and decisions, there are always people. Executives who have to make decisions. Managers who have to keep their teams running. HR professionals who have to strike the right balance. And employees who are trying to understand their role and what is expected of them.
I’ve also learned that a company can have good intentions and yet—sometimes unintentionally—create difficult situations. An unclear organizational structure, clumsy communication, leadership that lacks direction, or a poorly designed process can have very real consequences for both the people and the company.
It was this perspective on both sides of the employment relationship that led me to found ILM Advisory.
One shared conviction, two ways to provide support
When working with companies, my role is to provide the perspective and experience needed to simplify, structure, and secure their HR practices, as well as to develop a management style that gives meaning to work and helps teams grow.
With ILM Work Emergency, I wanted to make this experience available to employees.
Because throughout my career, I've also seen how difficult it can be to know what to do when a work situation starts to go south.
We talk about it with the people around us. We look for answers online. We reread an email ten times before replying. We wonder what our manager really thinks, why HR wants to meet with us, and what we should say—or, conversely, what we shouldn’t say.
And between “I’ll keep this to myself” and “I’ll take a much more formal approach, ” sometimes there’s simply a need for some space to understand what’s happening and think about the best way to move forward.
That is exactly what I wanted to create.
An outside perspective. But above all, an HR perspective.
When I'm supporting someone, I don't just look at the situation from their perspective.
I also know how a company works from the inside. How a manager might interpret a reaction. How HR interprets a conversation. Why certain questions are asked during an interview. Why certain documents are important. And how a situation can unfold depending on how it’s handled.
This experience allows me to bring a different perspective: a human one, of course, but also a pragmatic one that is grounded in the realities of the business.
My role is not to tell you what you want to hear.
The goal is to help you understand the situation so you can decide how to proceed.
My Approach to Work
Whether I’m working with a company, a manager, or an employee, my approach remains the same: listen before drawing conclusions, understand before making suggestions, and seek solutions that will actually work in practice.
I firmly believe that it is possible to defend a company's interests while respecting the people who make up the company.
Because a company needs rules, organization, and performance. But it also needs people who understand what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and who are eager to contribute.
To me, the two aren't contradictory. They go hand in hand.
